Photos and Videos: Our app requires access to your device's media library to display, organize, and edit your content. This data is processed locally unless you explicitly use our AI features.
Biometric Data: If you use the Secure Vault feature, biometric authentication (fingerprint or face unlock) is handled exclusively by the Android System. We never see or store your biometric data.
Device Information: We may collect basic device information (model, OS version) for bug reporting and performance optimization.
3. AI Processing & Cloud Services
Our app utilizes advanced AI features like Object Removal and Image Remixing.
Cloud Processing: When you use AI tools (e.g., Object Eraser), the selected image is temporarily transmitted to secure Google Cloud / Vertex AI servers for processing.
No Permanent Storage: These images are processed in real-time and are NOT stored permanently on our servers, nor are they used to train AI models.
Vertex AI & Imagen: We use industry-standard APIs from Google to provide these services safely and securely.
4. Secure Vault & Encryption
Items moved to the "Secure Vault" are moved to an isolated storage area on your device. We use Android's Keystore system and AES encryption to ensure that these items are only accessible via the GalleryAi app after successful authentication.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to enhance your experience:
Google Play Services: For app updates and core Android functionality.
Firebase Authentication: To manage anonymous or email-based user accounts securely.
Google Cloud / Vertex AI: For high-performance AI image processing.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, modify, or delete your data at any time.
Data Deletion: You can delete any item in the app or the vault. Uninstalling the app and clearing data will remove all locally stored vault items.
Permission Control: You can revoke media or biometric permissions through your Android System Settings at any time.

GalleryAi is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
